Damo approached us with the challenge of increasing their online visibility and client engagement. This utterly holistic brief primarily required us to:

Damo’s Personal Training began their business life as a one man band, training clients in a small boutique studio in South West London. Founder Damo Cornil had big plans to expand when he approached us to work together in 2015, and we were excited to get involved.

Since then, things have changed massively for the fitness brand – and while their previous website was no doubt a looker in its day, the internet has since moved on too.

So, with a brand refresh underway, we decided to build a brand new website to really show off the company’s new look.

We optimised Damo’s Personal Training’s website to improve its search engine rankings, driving more organic traffic and increasing visibility.

This involved ranking for highly competitive local terms, and going up against some of the biggest names in the fitness industry.

We developed a robust organic and paid social media strategy to attract potential customers and build a loyal online community, whilst engaging with and retaining current clients.

This involved creating stunning graphics and video content in multiple sizes and lengths; as well as partnering with local influencers and businesses who share Damo’s Personal Training’s ethics and vision.

We created visually appealing videos for a variety of different marketing purposes, including longform instructional workouts, short, snappy social media content, and direct response ads.

All videos aligned with Damo’s Personal Training’s brand identity, attracting visibility and enhancing their online presence.

We worked closely with Damo’s Personal Training to create a seasonal content calendar in order to plan out a comprehensive monthly email marketing campaign.

Damo’s Personal Training is an agile business, allowing for each month’s offering to borrow heavily from current goings-on and the latest news, tips and offers the fitness industry has at its absolute forefront. 

This also included running paid social media and paid search ads and offering lead magnets to encourage customers to sign up to the mailing list.

These include specialist classes, new package types, client upsells and add-ons, merchandising, and content-led products.

The personal training local landscape is deceptively competitive. Everyone from the local multinational chain Globo Gym right down to the local PT next door is gunning for the same business.

As a result, we worked from day one to rank locally for Damo’s Personal Training’s key terms, expanding their area and reach month on month.

We spent ages on the lookout for digital PR opportunities in the fitness and wellbeing spaces.

With its environmental and charitable business practices, Damo’s Personal Training lent itself well to attaining worthwhile PR.

This in turn resulted in increased visibility and leads for the company, as well as strengthening organic search rankings through strong editorial link building.

A personal training company needs to be out there, at the forefront of potential clients in its catchment area.

Appreciating this fact, we ran paid ads across a multitude of digital media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, and Google’s Display Network.

These ads took the form of video and static graphics; in a variety of dimensions and lengths to suit their respective purpose.

These “always on” ad campaigns support consistent business growth year on year.
